Thrive Forward: Chill with Nature Sept 14, 6:30 pm
Enjoy a few hours away from technology, the hustle of school or work, and relax surrounded by woods. Take this opportunity to observe and reflect in the natural environment. We’ll find our creativity in the natural forms of trees, use recycled materials for a take-home project, and enjoy being outdoors and connecting with flora, fauna, and friends.
Thrive Forward: Create with Clay Sept 17, 6:30 pm
Break from the grind of school or work and create with us! Let your design take shape and come to life in a functional vase. Make it tall or make it short, curved or square, plain or decorated, that’s up to you to decide. We’ll take inspiration from our surroundings and have some fun with clay!
Thrive Forward: Home DIY Sept 21, 6:30 pm
Build confidence in yourself through important life skills everyone should know. Wherever your next step takes you, knowing basic skills can make your life less stressful. Try your hand at a simple dessert from scratch, easy car maintenance, and that everyday chore that keeps you smelling and looking sharp… laundry. Get a confidence boost in learning a new skill, practicing an old one, and connecting with peers with shared experiences. Trust us… you can do it!
Thrive Forward: Building Leaders Sept 24, 6:30 pm
Confidence, Communication, and Connection… These are the building blocks for exceptional leaders, and everyone has a chance to shine! We’ll work with you to grow skills in teamwork and leadership, planning and taking action. Whether it’s finding the best way to communicate an idea, practicing slowing down and listening, or finding that you are comfortable taking the lead, bringing teens together builds community and connection. You have what it takes… now let’s see it through!
Halloween Fall Festival Oct 17, 6 pm – 8 pm
Join Camp Greenwood for our 4th Annual Fall Festival! This Halloween will be bigger than ever with Trunk-or-Treat, Carnival Games, Concessions, Prizes, Haunted Trail and more! In collaboration with local Greenville businesses and organizations, we want to make this a Spooktacular Halloween! FREE ADMISSION for everyone, Concessions are available for purchase and Games are only $1.
